Call for Brands to Participate in Fashion KODE 2020 S/SHosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and operated by the Korea Creative Content Agency, Fashion KODE 2020 S/S will be held for three days in S Factory (in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul), from Thursday, October 24, 2019 to Saturday, October 26, 2019. This is a call for competent fashion brands to participate in Fashion KODE 2020 S/S. We ask for your interest in the event.  Overview of Fashion KODE 2020 S/SFashion KODE is hosted under seasonal themes to attract influential buyers and provide enhanced promotional effects. However, the costs shall be borne by the participating brand. ※ Refer to the application form (No. 6)◦ Collaboration concept fashion show- Overview: “Fashion x Cinema Collaboration Fashion Show” to celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of Korean film- Details Participating brands will design and produce costumes inspired by works of Korean film to present approximately forty items in this joint fashion show.   * Participating brands will work with KOCCA to select the films on which to base their work.-Support to Participating Brands:* Around seven brands will be each provided with a costume production stipend (approx. KRW500,000) (around five items per brand, two of which must be new productions) * The collaboration concept costumes will be displayed and promoted in the Fashion KODE event venue * Fashion show models, direction, and operation will be provided by the event organizer* The event organizer will help participating brands produce invitations and promote the event (live social media influencer contents will be broadcasted on the site)* The event organizer will build the runway and audience stand; provide runway photographers and photo/video files※ Details may be changed after coordination in case intellectual property issues arise in terms of the film.※ Participating brands are responsible for costs incurred by additional models (model fee, hair and makeup fee, etc.) ◦ Consulting- (Domestic Distribution) Distribution consultation including online/offline market comparison, tailored to individual brand situations  - (Overseas Market Expansion) Information about overseas markets and expansion channels - (Brand Marketing) Plans for social media promotion strategy/collaboration marketing with artists Consulting schedule will be individually informed to participating brands; the topic is subject to change depending on the situation ◦ B2C Market (Open Day)- Brand product sales for general consumers (approximately 30 brands) - Hosted in Layer 57 in Seongsu-dong on Day 3 (Saturday, October 26) of the event      - The event organizer will provide a payment system and payment processing personnel (direct sales by participating brands) ※Excluding credit card fees (approx. 3%) and VAT (10%)※Detailed event information will be provided during brand recruitment information session and participating brand information session 6. Benefits for Participating Brands◦ Additional points provided to participating brands that apply to creative brand prototype production project for 2020 (planned for March 2020)- Additional points will depend on the number of events participated (Fashion KODE 2020 S/S and F/W contract promotion event) (1 point for 1 event participated; 3 points for 3 events participated) ◦ Support for overseas fashion week event (Jakarta Fashion Week)- The event organizer will select 2 brands that participated in the contract promotion sessions at Fashion KODE 2019 F/W and 2020 S/S to attend Jakarta Fashion Week 2020 (planned for October 2019)※ The schedule will be individually notified for brands that submitted an application (planned for September 2019)  - Booths (1 booth per brand), fashion show (a joint fashion show for the 2 brands: model, hair/makeup, direction will be provided), round-trip airfare and accommodation (1 person per brand), interviews with local media, and interpreters will be provided◦ Business Support- Preliminary market research will be conducted to provide one-on-one buyer-brand matching service- Business interpretation, event guards, and operating staff will be provided◦ Promotional Support- Online promotion, promotional video production and distribution, real-time live broadcast at the event venue- Brand information will be posted in Fashion KODE directory book and website  7.
